UDATE 1/22/2012
Bo bounded in my house with so much energy and excitement! It doesn't
seem that he has ever been in a house before, and walked funny on my
hardwood floors for a while. He is very curious about his new
surroundings, and very curious about my cat. My cat has thankfully been
around many dogs and isn't too worried when a dog gets in her
personal space; however if she runs, Bo runs right chase. Bo is learning
his manners in the house and after a week here, he is doing much better.
He is a fast learner! Bo still has a lot to learn when it comes to
walking on the leash. He is very strong for his size and when we are out
the door he is off to the races! He does calm down after a bit and is
learning from his foster brother, Oscar, good leash manners. On his
first walk, Bo was very curious about cars and would stop and gawk at
the ones passing by like he had never seen such a thing. Bo has been to
the dog park two times this week and he loves it!!! Bo has a lot of
energy and loves to run and stretch his legs. He is good with other dogs
and likes to play rough. He has learned a lot for his first week.
He loves to cuddle on the couch and he gives the sweetest kisses! He
loves to be petted and really enjoys affection. Bo is going to be a
wonderful addition to a family that can give him lots of love and
exercise!
INTAKE
REPORT 113/2012
Bo was lost and alone and didn't know what would become of him.
A very nice lady decided to help him and took him in and got his
vaccinations and all vetted and called MAGRR. MAGRR agreed to take
him and he was on his way. He traveled from Arkansas to Memphis.
Bo is very sweet. He is a young boy and appears to be a Nova
Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. He is small and has that Golden
coat, but definitely looks more like a Duck Toller. He will need a
home that can give him some exercise. In return he will love his
new family. He is truly an exceptional boy.
