FOSTER UPDATE 2/4/2012
Clifford is very sweet and very smart. He loves to snuggle and has good manners in a home. He is completely housebroken and sits on command. When he is on a leash he does not pull unless another dog walks by and then he will bark. I let him get nose to nose with my neighbors dogs and he is fine upon meeting a dog but he will bark if he does not get to meet them....social butterfly. He is very gentle when taking treats and not aggressive at all with dogs, food, or snacks. He loves chew toys and balls. He kennels very well and will settle on the carpet nicely at night. He loves car rides too. *He should not go to a home with cats because he will chase them. He is not mean to them, he just thinks they are fun to chase. It's a lot of fun at my house right now since I have 7 cats. He will be an amazing companion for some family but again without cats! He does not jump up on people and will come when he is called.  He is such an adorable boy.

INTAKE REPORT 1/6/2012
Clifford was found as a stray and unable to locate his owner.  He arrived this morning at or clinic, just a bundle of energy.  He was very interested in all the goings on around him, and wanted desperately to engage the other dogs there.  He has poor leash manners and is very strong.  The wonderful girl who found him said he has been a polite houseguest, is housebroken and has been a perfect gentleman out in her yard while she worked every day.  He knows basic commands like sit and down and will gently take treats.  He rides well in a car, whines a little with excitement, but stays put.  He has been with her two small dogs, but they were not very social with him and snapped at him, to which he did not react at all.  He is a beautiful dog, and will make some family a wonderful new member!
