FOSTER
UPDATE 4/20/08
Lily spend the week end with a couple who have no other dogs,
and she did just fine alone. Lily is extremely smart and they
report that she was just a joy. She went to the dog park and had
no possessive issues with other dogs but was actually was fearful of
other dogs. She does get upset when the
female of the house leaves, but soon settles down. She was fine
with my grandson who went with me today to get some more pictures.
She is beautiful and very sweet. She returns to her regular foster
home tomorrow.

FOSTER UPDATE 4/15/08
Lily is getting better about her possessiveness but still plays rough
sometimes. She wanted to play with Jake often but I don't allow
getting too rough. We are working on "toy greediness" reconditioning
intervention so that she will learn to share toys readily.
Lily loves to go out for walks, either with or without Jake. She pulls a
little sometimes but she listens to my commands. I took her over to a
local lake for a little walk/jog. I can tell she would love to chase
down the ducks. She is very good out in public when meeting new people
and new dogs. At home I don't think she will bolt. She tries to get out
the door but the one time she got out after I thought the storm door
closed she ran to my car but I called her to come to the back gate and
she did. She responds to Lily, Lucy or Jake or whatever I called her in
my haste.

All I need is someone to spend some time with me!!!!
Lily was turned
over to MAGRR because her owner didn't have any time for her. She
is a sweet natured girl. She is a talker,
talked while riding to our clinic. She was not barking, just some roo
roo sort of noise. She is truly a beautiful girl and just needs to have
someone spend some time with her and show her some love and attention.
She is very loving, wants to be close and loves petting. Lily can
be very protective of her space with other dogs. She will not
share her toys with other dogs and is definitely a dominant girl.
Lily is a very bright girl. She does have a very sweet nature.
