How You Can Help MAGRR

 

It takes a village to save a Golden!

MAGRR is an all-volunteer organization. We are always in need of extra help and representation. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities for you to choose, from fostering and fundraising, to conducting home visits and phone interviews. MAGRR welcomes your involvement!

Life has been unfair and unkind to many of the Goldens in our program. MAGRR volunteers are truly making a difference in the lives of these special animals. Whether you live in Memphis or Maine, you can be a valuable volunteer for MAGRR. Click the links below to see how you can help.

Offer your assistance to our intake team! Do you live in Mississippi or Arkansas? Would you be willing to work with our intake team to help transport Goldens from shelters in your area? It is often difficult for our volunteers to schedule weekly trips to Clarksdale, Tupelo, or Cleveland and make it back before our clinic closes, but if someone would be willing to assist or meet us halfway, we would be very grateful! Let us know if you are interested and our intake coordinator will notify you when help is needed in your area and provide you with specific instructions. Intake is a tough, but rewarding responsibility and you will get to experience the joy of saving a Golden whose fate had otherwise been sealed.
