The Khaki Fund was
established to raise money for a permanent office and
kennel to help house our Goldens awaiting adoption.
This is part of a
long-term project to help ensure the best of care for
our furry friends.
The fund was named for
Khaki, a female Golden who belonged to Phyl Simmons.
In fact, Khaki was Phyl's first Golden.
If our Goldens are at
the Heart of what we do, then certainly, Phyl
is the Soul of MAGRR.
Her tireless efforts
have been the backbone of our organizational
structure, and our success thus far is largely due
to her daily attention to details.
So in order to
recognize and celebrate her work on behalf of the
MAGRR organization, this fund was started by her
family and friends.
