Chaucer
Perhaps only once in a
lifetime are we privileged to care for an animal as magnificent
in character, personality, and beauty as our Chaucer was. Noble
is the word that described him best, for he was both regal and
gentle. A giant who greeted everyone with a golden smile,
Chaucer never offended or frightened anyone from the tiniest
child to the elderly who might be unstable on their feet. He
was, in short, the epitome of what every golden retriever was
intended to be.
Because of Chaucer we learned
of and became involved in rescue work. Because of him, we have
had
the privilege of fostering numerous goldens and adopted three
others living with us now--all dogs who had a sad story, a happy
face, and needed a new home. Chaucer will be terribly missed, but
this loving creature will live in our hearts forever as an example
of how we could all improve our lives with unconditional love,
loyalty, and a golden smile.

Dillon Piscioneri
Dillon had so little time
with his wonderful family, Brenda & Tony Piscioneri, but the time
was quality time. They gave him the opportunity to stay with
his canine sister, Murphee, which was truly a blessing. He was
a very special boy. He lived life to the fullest right up to
the last day. He was loved dearly by the Piscioneris and his
TN Foster Family, Phyl & Austin Simmons. He will never be
forgotten. We will see you again.
