Angelina - My Golden Angel

She came into our lives
On a windy October day.
A glance at Angelina,
It took my breath away.
A beautiful golden girl
Scared and skinny that day.
Has turned into an angel
What more can I say.
Even though she’s not quite sure
And tends to shy away.
She will make a family happy
And proud she came their way.
She loves to run and chew on bones
And give you lots of hugs.
She even likes to play around
With our two golden rugs.
Yes, that Angelina or Leanie
I should say,
Definitely brightened our lives
When she came to us that day.
Those big brown eyes and golden hugs
You simply can’t resist.
Yes, that Angelina girl we will
Truly miss.
