From Memphis with Love

All Goldens offered for adoption through the Memphis Area Golden Retriever Rescue program have been examined by a vetspayed/neutered if old enough (or will be at a later time at the expense of MAGRR), fully vaccinatedmicro-chipped, heartworm tested and put on preventative or, if necessary, treated.  Although no health guarantee is given as to future defects or illnesses, we have done our best to see that our dogs are healthy at the time of adoption.  Dogs adopted out of the Memphis area and not picked up by the adopter, are transported via ground by a USDA licensed transport

An exciting new program, MAGRR New England, was launched in October of 2006.  The south is just overrun with homeless dogs and cats, and we have our hands full with golden retrievers looking for loving families.  In the New England area, a rescue golden retriever is hard to find.  MAGRR New England created a way for us to put our MAGRR goldens in loving homes in the Northeastern area.

Lise Kirk was instrumental in implementing our New England program! Click here to see how Lise started her rescue work.

We have placed many dogs in the New England area.  Click to see the MAGRR dogs that have made the journey from Memphis with Love!  Some of these grateful families have shared their stories and some photos, and we are so excited & want to share them with you!

If you are a MAGRR New England adopter & want your story added, please send your story, along with a photo or two, to Missy Brown.
